Here’s 3000 particles, 3 lights (one on camera) and a camera. Made even more optimizations and I don’t think it can be any more faster in pure as3. Something like 100x more if we had GPU acceleration on flash player :(

Yes I’m considering it. I should write an article about it and open those tricks. The source by it self is quite complicated. At least would be for me if I saw it for the first time.

Nice! Although I get a lot of “judder” or “flickering” with this on as opposed to the previous ones. Fps is solid at 59-60 though.
