Made a break through just before I fall into sleep and here’s the result:

I estimate that there’s near 20% more performance (!!) and also get rid of those white lines around meshes. You can check it out with different qualities by right clicking. I feel happy. This baby is powerfull.
25-50 FPS (various, depending on cubes shown) on iMac 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4MB Ram :)
