It seems that flash is really powerful.
And I’m thinking now about making some educational flashes about Quantum mechanics, Relativity and Cosmology.
Can you tell me — in order to make such stuff one needs to do low level byte code ripping or pure ActionScript is enough?

You can go pretty far with pure as3, but in some cases to get more performance you should use C via Alchemy (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/alchemy/) or Pixel Bender (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/pixelbender/).
It’s more matter of where’s your strength in coding. Optimizing is everything, not so much of a language.
