January 2006 me and my fellow worker Pekka Meskanen at Valve released a 4k flashdemo!
We participated in Flashscene.org‘s 4k challenge and won the competition.
The Vinyl 4k uses flash8 effects and runs only on Flash-player version 8 or upper. There are also some major differences between running flash in Firefox and Internet Explorer (ie rolls flash something like 6x faster then ff) so I recommend that you’ll view it with IE. Be sure you got your speakers on because our demo even have a “music” on it.
