I switched from XP to Vista a month ago and I’m pretty happy with Vista. The search works splendid and some new key sortcuts helps working alot. I have to give ++ for data transfer speed. I also got my Adobe Web Premium CS3 copy few weeks ago and I enjoy the new menus that give alot of more working space. I don’t know what profit these all grey icons will give, but I can manage since these features comes from my spine. I don’t give alot of credit for .psd import because jpg compression isn’t that good in Flash. Save For Web -function in Photoshop gives still the best result. I can manage because that’s how I have allways worked.

BUT what the bloody testicle is with this coding enviroment?! It is extremely slow, don’t hint at all and it’s _blinking_. It takes 4 seconds and 6 blinks to scroll 50 lines of code. I’m not sure, but I think this “feature” is only with Windows Vista. Dear Adobe, how about arranging some testing before launch? Yeye you did.. But how about fixing bugs before launch? maybe in next version. (that cost 2000euros more…)

Or maybe it’s Adobes new strategy to turn Flash back to “animation only”-software? Flex or Flashdevelop are hardly a good tools for building campaigne sites. Maybe I should use multiple softwares for creating simple stuff and bill more because of complex work flow. Or maybe I should turn back to XP. Or just get use to blinking and slow coding. All very magnificent options!

Seems that since 18th of May my statistics jumped up to 1000 visitors per day. So who is spreading word about my cosmos? Could someone please tell me what is going on?

I don’t want to spoil anything so I wont be posting any new experimentals for next two months and 19 days (like someone really care? eh). After that I’ll post a great stack of them and hopefully a demo too :)

Tänään valtiossamme elää köyhyysrajan alapuolella 600 000 ihmistä. Eli 12% koko väestöstä. Siis joka kymmenes kadulla vastaantulijoista ja sitä ei voi olla huomaamatta. Tosin, se on helppo sivuuttaa sulkeutumalla omaan lokeroon ja pikkumaailmaan. Elän maailmassa, jossa seuran voi valikoida. Minä en tunne naapureitani, äitini tuntee. On siis tapahtunut jotain.

Maksan noin 30% veroa palkastani siinä uskossa, että sen ansiosta heikolla hetkellä minä en putoa kelkasta. Taustallani on vahva ja turvallinen heimo. Vaan onko? Jos joka kymmenes putoaa rajan alapuolelle niin miksi minä olisin poikkeus. Miksi ketään kiinnostaisi minun vuosikymmenien panokseni 30 pinnalla, jos elämme omissa lokeroissamme? Mitä jos väsyn? Ei se ketään kiinnosta.

Jos minä epäonnistun ja lopetan panokseni, niin minut hyljitään. Olen se pummi rautatieasemalla. Olen se laiskiainen, se piikki lihassa, se minkä kohtaloa on vältettävä. Se, jota ei pidä kuunnella.
Jos turvaa ei ole, ei ole myöskään hyvää valtiota. Ei ole järkeä maksaa veroa.

20 vuotta sitten köyhyysrajan alapuolella oli vain 2%. Suunta on siis, että tuloerot kasvavat ja rajusti. Eikö meistä kaikki käyneet peruskoulun? Nukuimmeko historian tunneilla? Miksei tästä syntyisi levottomuutta yhteiskunnassamme, kuten on käynyt aina koko ihmishistorian ajan? Sitä tuskin kukaan haluaa, mutta sekin tosiasia on helppo sivuuttaa sulkeutumalla omaan lokeroon.
